Ian F joins 2oceansVibe Radio

Great new "listenings" in the morning!

It wasn’t long ago that we had this rad idea for an online radio station and started to play around with a few songs, some DJ guys and some big ideas for the future.

Somewhere in the ether one of these “big ideas” has come off in spectacular style. I cant remember who said it; it was late at night and over a beer, but the conversation was something like where is Ian F? What happened to the one half of the iconic Ian and Sasha gang?

Well we found him. He was doing radio stuff on the big radio stations having returned from the UK after a few years doing “radio stuff” on mud island.

We flew up to Joburg, told him what we were doing, how cool we thought we were and would he like to join our gang?

The answer was an emphatic yes! And now the Ian F show is on 2oceansVibe Radio Monday to Friday 7 to 10! Check it out here.

Seriously its different. But its the same F we know and love – just with extended freedom and some new angles of attack. If you haven’t listened on your way to work you are missing out. And I mean that sincerely.

After a brief dalliance with FM radio on his return from his couple of years playing around in the UK, Ian F has finally found a home at South Africa’s first commercial online radio station.

Despite numerous offers to return to his old ways on terrestial radio, this ex-5fm jock knew he had a higher calling and now preaches from the pulpit of freedom and internet radio.

For those who are not aware of the F’s legend on SA radio, your weekday mornings are about to change forever. Bringing with him a wealth of broadcasting experience, as well as some of the best ‘toons in the business, The Ian F show also comprises of kickass team on air with him. Ex-5fm producer “Spike” Brendan Ballantine, Ricci Regnani and (according to rumuors) the webcam friendly Lisa Davis round out “Team Joburg”.

Catch the guys every weekday morning 7am through till 10am and start feeding yourself real Breakfast radio.
